Print Information & Cropping Guide

Why your print may look slightly different

All photographs are displayed digitally on our website, but printed images come in a range of physical sizes — each with slightly different proportions (aspect ratios).

Because of this, some prints may be slightly cropped compared to how they appear on screen.

What does this mean?

  • Different print sizes (6×4, A4, A3) use different proportions
  • Your image is adjusted to best fit the selected size
  • This may result in small areas around the edges being trimmed

We always ensure the main subject remains intact and centred.

Important to know

  • Cropping is usually minimal but can vary depending on the image and size selected
  • Wider images may be trimmed slightly at the sides
  • Taller images may be trimmed slightly at the top and bottom

Our approach

Every image is prepared with care to ensure it prints beautifully at all available sizes. We aim to preserve the composition and quality of each photograph as closely as possible.

Disclaimer

By purchasing a print, you acknowledge that minor cropping may occur depending on the selected print size. The final printed image may differ slightly from the on-screen preview.
